Rishi Sunak facing TWO crunch by-election headaches as groper MP Chris Pincher faces suspension for 8 weeks | The Sun

RISHI Sunak now faces two crunch by-elections as groper Chris Pincher is on the brink of being kicked out of the Commons.

It comes as the Tories formally move to replace Nadine Dorries with a mid-October showdown in Mid Bedfordshire.

Mr Pincher today lost his appeal over groping men in posh club – triggering a recall petition in Tamworth.

The scandal, first revealed by The Sun, helped trigger the fall of Boris Johnson last summer.

The House of Commons Committee on Standards recommended that the former top Tory be suspended from the House for eight weeks.

Mr Pincher, a former Tory whip, appealed the Committee’s recommended sanction arguing it was disproportionate.

But a sub-panel dismissed the appeal, and upheld the sanction this morning.

He faces being booted out of the Commons for eight weeks if MPs agree – triggering a recall petition.

Ms Dorries formally quit as an MP last month after a savage attack on the PM.

She claimed the Prime Minister had opened the gates to whip up a frenzy leaving cops to visit her home amid a slew of threats.

Her formal departure emerged in a 1,787-word letter to the PM having first revealed she would quit in June after not receiving Peerage in Boris Johnson’s resignation honours list.

It means the PM faces two huge by-election headaches in the weeks to come – as he gears up for his party conference, and marking his first year in the top job in November.
