MAFS’ Luke breaks silence as he lashes out at producers after shock axe
October 18, 2023Luke Worley has broken his silence over his Married At First Sight axing.
The salesman turned TV star, 30, is said to have punched co-star Jordan Gayle, leading to Luke, and his onscreen wife Jay Howard, being removed from the show.
After news of the dramatic exit was leaked ahead of it appearing on the show, Luke took to Instagram, where he lashed out at his co-stars and the show producers.
In a series of videos posted to his Instagram Story, Luke began: "I'm f***ing fuming by the way, and first of all, I just want to apologise to the whole audience who watches Married At First Sight UK because we have obviously got a snake in the cast – or snakes.
"And they feel the need to sell stories and give spoilers throughout the whole season of the show. This whole season has just been spoilers, and they make like 50 quid or something stupid for one story."
He continued: "You must be that desperate for a couple of quid if you can't wait a couple of weeks but you choose to sell a story. I'm actually so p***ed off – not just for myself but for you guys at home, who just want to tune in. But it's been ruined for you guys. Everything has been ruined"
Turning his eye to the show producers, Luke claimed that the story had been "over-exaggerated" and that he would soon be revealing all the "juicy" behind-the-scenes gossip and the true story between his shocking show exit.
Luke said: "I just want to make it clear that the article is exaggerated. Half of that stuff is not as it seems and there are certain people above who should have taken accountability.
"As soon as I'm allowed to talk about stuff, and as soon as the show is over, I'm going to be posting everything about it on Instagram so make sure you're following because it's going to be juicy.
"I'm angry with many people, and the people who are a level above the cast has to take accountability for some of the stuff that went on. Whoever is leaking these stories and ruining it for the whole country, go f*** yourself."
Luke isn't the only castmate to have been axed by show producers this year, with Brad Skelly previously being removed from the popular E4 show following his "controlling and coercive" behaviour towards on-screen wife Shona Maderson.
Following his exit from the show Brad also hit out at the show's producers for "portraying him as a villain" and dubbed the show "suffocating."
