This year’s celebrity line-up consists of Layton Williams, Zara McDermott, Angela Rippon, Angela Scanlon, Adam Thomas, Annabel Croft, Bobby Brazier, Amanda Abbington, Eddie Kadi, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Ellie Leach, Nigel Harman and Les Dennis.
Bobby is the current favourite to win this year’s series with his odds at 3/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Fans and punters can’t wait to see the latest batch of Strictly stars take to the dancefloor, and the latest figures suggest Bobby Brazier is very much the one to beat.”
He added: “Krishnan Guru-Murthy has been dealt with a double-crushing blow, though… Not only is he the rank outsider to go all the way this year, he’s also had the backing of just 1.4 per cent of punters up to this point.”
Speaking about Strictly returning, host Tess Daly shared: The biggest joy for me is that this is a live TV show. It’s such an adrenaline rush. I love that it’s completely authentic and anything could happen at any given moment.
“I absolutely love watching the audience faces as they react to the routines in the studio. And it’s talking about it with everybody I meet and being a part of something that feels authentic and special.
“The biggest challenge is probably running up the stairs and across the studio at speed in stilettos! My calves do not thank me the next day!”
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday on BBC One.
