You can pick and mix your own Quality Street box at John Lewis' Christmas shop
September 27, 2023Guys, it’s 89 days till Christmas and you know what that means. The John Lewis Christmas shop is here!
And, even better, its Quality Street pick ‘n’ mix station is returning to stores – so there’s no more binning the worst flavours at the end of the holiday season.
Festive shoppers can fill a new 1.2kg tin to the brim for £15 with a choice of the 12 iconic chocolates.
This includes the Coffee Creme, which was discontinued 20 years ago, but is now back with a bang.
Don’t sleep on it’s return though, as it’s a limited edition chocolate for the 2023 festivities.
Got an old Quality Street tin knocking around? You can fill that one instead for just £12.50.
If your heart isn’t four sizes too small, you may even consider personalising the tin with a loved ones name for £17, then stuffing it full of their favourite Green Triangles or Toffee Fingers.
But, if you aren’t fussed about a giant tin of Quality Street you could alternatively fill your own advent calendar for £14.
Or, why not accessorise the table with a ‘fill your own’ Quality Street Christmas cracker?
If you want to try this out for yourself today, you’ll have to venture to the Oxford Street John Lewis, where its Christmas shop opened on September 27.
All other Christmas shops at the other 18 sites across the UK will open over the next two weeks.
It’s safe to say the internet was pretty excited about the return of the pick ‘n’ mix stations.
One Twitter user, Garry, wrote: ‘A pick n mix tin, eh? Now THAT’S a Quality Street on which we all want to live!’
We’re right there with you Garry.
John Lewis even partnered with Quality Street for a bespoke tin design this Christmas.
Santa’s Grotto and Santa Paws will be available in ten John Lewis stores from November 22, for those who want to meet Santa.
John Lewis has also extended its returns period as it did last year, giving customers the chance to return any purchases made between September 27 and December 24, until January 23, 2024.
