A stunned shopper has revealed how an Amazon delivery driver worker went the extra mile to ensure they delivered a package, by leaving it in the recipient’s locked shed.
A photo has emerged on Reddit of a delivery notice, telling a customer that the person responsible for their delivery was able to leave it in a safe place.
The notice details the exploits of the delivery driver, who detailed that they were able to deliver the package despite none of the recipient’s neighbours taking in the parcel.
Under the ‘safe place’ section of the delivery form, the delivery driver wrote: ‘Parcel delivered to locked shed.
‘No neighbours would take [the] parcel so [they] worked out [the] code on [the] locked shed.’

This act of quick thinking followed a man who was left in hysterics in 2020 when he saw a delivery note saying that his parcel had been left in a ‘safe location’ underneath the door mat – despite it being around 3ft tall.
Yodel customer Glenn Jones, believed to be from the US, couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the package outside his home.
The large parcel was accompanied by a ‘sorry I missed you note’ through the letterbox, explaining where to locate it, just in case he missed it.
