Leave The World BehindAvailable from Friday

It doesn’t get the acclaim it deserves but Mr Robot was arguably one of the best and most imaginative sci-fi thriller series of the last 10 years. Now its creator Sam Esmail has turned his attention to films – and this star-studded movie is the result. Amanda (Julia Roberts) and her husband Clay (Ethan Hawke) have taken their kids for a weekend away at a spectacular and luxurious house, but the peace and tranquility of their mini-break evaporates when two strangers, G.H. (Mahershala Ali) and his daughter Ruth (Myha’la) arrive in the middle of the night, claiming that the house is theirs and breaking the news of a mysterious cyber attack that threatens the very fabric of society. But is everything as it seems? Like Mr Robot, it’s a mind-bending, thought-provoking ride that’s drenched in paranoia and filled with impressive effects.
