I'm A Celebrity 2023 start date revealed – and it's just DAYS away | The Sun

November 6, 2023

ITV have revealed the start date for the new series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – and it's just days away.

Viewers watching Good Morning Britain this morning (November 6) got a surprise when an ad for the upcoming run gave away when the hit show will kick off.

There have been teases running for the long-running reality show's highly anticipated return for several weeks now.

The ads see hosts Ant and Dec working at a luxury jungle retreat – but this time there was a difference at the end of the promo.

Fans noticed that the start date was confirmed for the first time as the launch episode was confirmed as Sunday November 19.

This year's line-up is yet to be officially announced by ITV but The Sun has revealed many of the names set to take on the bushtucker trials this year.

In the mix are X Factor boy band star Marvin Humes, controversial politician Nigel Farage and This Morning favourite Josie Gibson.

Jockey Frankie Detorri is also believed to be walking into the famous camp in a matter of days and today became the show's first star to touch down on Australian soil.

Frankie is in Australia far earlier than celebrities traditionally arrive for the show.

It is thought that he has TV and promotional work to do in Melbourne for most of this week, to tie in with the Melbourne Cup.

It has been suggested that he will then take a domestic flight from Melbourne to Brisbane and will meet with show bosses and be placed in quarantine for a few days.

The Sun exclusively revealed at the weekend that Masterchef star Grace Dent has also signed up – despite slamming the show in the past.

The TV food critic, 50, branded the series “a puerile venture into starvation, televised constipation and animal cruelty, abbreviated by ads for Iceland £1 curries.”

She admitted she was embarrassed to watch the award-winning show, saying in 2012: “I snap my blinds firmly shut before settling down to watch I’m a Celeb, in fear the theme tune alone devalues my property.”

Grace has signed a deal rumoured to be up to £100,000 to join fellow celebs Down Under in a move which is set to boost her broadcasting career.
