A buyer will secure a piece of The Block history.
The 1860s weatherboard that host Scott Cam transformed on the 2022 season is for sale. The show airs on Nine, owner of this masthead.
“I think the house has amazing artwork and design, and it’s full of history, which I love. It’s going to make a family happy as it’s a wonderful family home,” Cam tells Nine.
The property, called Camalot and at 207 McGeorge Road in Gisborne, Victoria, is being handled by Kirrily Evans of Evans Realty Group Gisborne. Evans tells Nine the price guide is $4.1 million to $4.3 million.
Cam, a tradesman before becoming a TV personality, renovated the home alongside the contestants on last year’s tree-change themed season.

Assisting Cam were former contestants Spence Thomson and Duncan Miller, and for styling and art choices, Sarah Armstrong of The Block Shop lent her expertise.

The home was built in 1866 by Scottish immigrant Joseph McGeorge, and Cam was keen to preserve a part of its history.
“The McGeorge family used a piece of timber from Princes Pier (in Port Melbourne, Victoria) in the original house. I wanted to honour that, so I used a piece of timber from the pier in the new build of the house which is one of the mantle pieces,” the TV personality says.
Cam, who was assisted by a team of tradesmen, says he “couldn’t be happier with the final result”.

“The grounds are incredible around the house, and my favourite part is the open fireplace in the living room which heats up the whole house.
“It was great to be back on the tools, but I also had a great team around me to help me build the house. I built it with my kids in mind when they were younger – a room for twins and a sibling.”
The renovated home contains a master with en suite and walk-in robe, three guest bedrooms and two guest en suites, a kitchen, living and dining zone, along with a separate kitchenette and study.

There is also a powder room, a mud room and laundry, media room, office and a shed with “man cave”.
Cam added a pool and cabana to the outdoor space, which has lush gardens.
Interior design details of note include original Baltic pine floorboards, herringbone brick floors, French doors and a custom Christian Cole island bench in the farmhouse kitchen.
Gisborne is a town in the Macedon Ranges, about 54 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. Domain’s House Price Report for the September 2023 quarter reveals the median price for Gisborne is $1.01 million.
