Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied looked incredibly tense as they were pictured without their wedding rings during an outing in Paris, France, with their two kids this week – amid ongoing speculation that they are headed for divorce following claims that the choreographer had cheated on the actress with a younger woman.  

The pair, who tied the knot in 2012, seemed somber as they went on a stroll together with their two kids, Aleph, 12, and Amalia, six, in the French capital.

Putting on a united front amid swirling rumors about their marriage, photographers caught the two stars exiting their apartment and escorting their children to school. 

While the two chatted to each other here and there, they appeared to walk side-by-side in silence for much of the stroll. Neither of them wore their wedding rings.

Back in June, a French outlet called Voici shared an explosive report that claimed Benjamin had an affair with a 25-year-old climate activist named Camille Étienne.

People reported at the time that his romance with Camille was ‘short-lived’ and is now ‘over’ – and that Benjamin was ‘doing all he could’ to get ‘Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together.’

‘He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,’ a source told the publication. 

‘Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy.’

‘She doesn’t know if she can regain her power by staying with him or leaving him. It is really a struggle to have to continue to deal with it.’

They then relocated to Los Angeles. But they sold their Montecito mansion in 2022, and Natalie revealed afterwards that the family was moving back to Paris full time

‘They are really taking it day by day because deep down they are really in love, and they are trying to figure out what has caused the distance between them,’ they continued. 

‘She wants to stay with him, and he really wants to be with her. They both know that breaking up and staying together forever are still on the table and only time will tell what direction they will actually take.’

Natalie has been spotted without her wedding ring numerous times since the cheating scandal hit the web. 

Natalie and Benjamin – who originally met on set of Black Swan – were seen together for the first time following the rumors on August 20, when they attended the FIFA Women’s World Cup final in Sydney, Australia together along with their son.
