Aldi announces strict two per customer rule for popular Christmas item
November 15, 2023Aldi tease ‘Kevin and his Christmas Factory’ plushies release
Christmas has come early at Aldi as the popular supermarket has announced the return of Kevin the Carrot stuffed toys.
Less than 24 hours ago Aldi UK posted a video to Facebook sharing the festive news. The caption read: “The plushie production is in full swing! Kevin and his Christmas Factory friends are available in store on November 16. #AldiAmazingChristmas.”
Already the video has amassed a whopping 2,200 likes, 767 comments and 388 shares.
Kevin and Friends come under Specialbuys, which means they will be available for purchase in store but not online or for home delivery.
Aldi’s official website reads: “Specialbuys are unique and exciting products that you find at Aldi. From DIY, kitchenware, garden furniture to sports, camping and everything in between!”

Due to expected high demand, Aldi announced that each customer will be limited to a maximum of two of each character.
Aldi customers will be able to buy the festive toys from tomorrow (Thursday, November 16). Kevin the Carrot Plush, Golden Kevin and Spoilt Little Sprout Plush are all priced at £3.99, alongside several other items from the range.
A Jumbo Kevin the Carrot will set you back £19.99. There are also decorations and pyjamas on offer.
Nevertheless, Aldi fans are super excited about Kevin and Friends. Commenting on Aldi’s video – which depicts the toys singing on a sort of conveyor belt – Ann White proclaimed: “Best Christmas advert this year.”

Alelap Hendo added: “Was watching a programme about TV Xmas adverts the other night and they were just saying how with the Kevin ads, something that in theory shouldn’t have worked… ads about veg at Xmas… has captured our hearts to become iconic. However I think that’s every bit to do with you guys on social media as much as the TV ad! Look forward to all the Aldi posts in the run up to Xmas.. razor sharp humour and always on point.”
Kevin Gower wanted to make sure he could get his hands on these fun, festive products. He said: “Aldi UK – As you are no longer able to purchase these online, I hope you have ensured each store has sufficient stock of these characters!”
But the supermarket gave a warning. Customers must act fast when the toys drop. In response, Ashley from Aldi announced: “All stores will receive a fair amount of each however as with all SpecialBuys once they’re gone they’re gone.”
