James Haskell ditches wedding ring again as he parties in Paris with Mike Tindall
October 23, 2023Following reports of marital troubles with wife Chloe Madeley, James Haskell has ditched his wedding ring again while out partying in Paris with pals.
The former rugby ace, 38, headed to private members’ bar Le Rugby Club in the French capital on Thursday evening with close pal Mike Tindall, 44, ahead of the England V South Africa World Cup semi-final on Sunday.
James and Mike hosted a party for their new range of gin Blackeye, which they launched last month with pal Alex Payne, and the duo were seen exiting the club at around 3am after a wild night of partying.
James looked to be in good spirits as he posed for photos with friends at the bash, but his wedding ring was noticeably absent again.
Back in the UK, Chloe, 36, was spending quality time with her dad Richard Madeley in Hampstead, with the pair enjoying a day out with Chloe and James' one year old daughter Bodhi. Photos from the outing showed Chloe also without her wedding band, with the mum-of-one ditching it on several occasions over recent weeks, including on a girls' night out.
James and Chloe are reportedly experiencing marital troubles after photos of the former rugby player with a woman outside London's posh Chiltern Firehouse on Thursday, 12 October were published, leaving Chloe reportedly "upset".
After the snaps have left fans bemused over the strong couple's antics, a representative of James shared with the Mirror his side of the story. The spokesperson said: "The woman pictured is a friend of James's group who he just met that night. They were simply having a conversation outside so there is nothing to this story."
However, a source has since told OK! that James' party lifestyle is taking its toll on his wife, who is reportedly "leaning heavily" on her mum and dad – TV stars Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan – for support.
“James loves Chloe but he also really loves going out. He always has done,” said the source. “In the past, when it was just the two of them, they would always work out together and go out together, but that dynamic changes when you have a baby.”
The source continued: “Chloe is leaning very heavily on her mum and dad. They’re very, very close and very supportive and they don’t want her to be unhappy. Her mum and dad are really involved in their lives together, especially since they became grandparents to Bodhi. They’re really hands-on.”
GMB presenter Richard isn't best pleased about his son-in-law's behaviour, with our source adding: "Richard especially isn’t happy at all with the way James has been conducting himself – he’s going to be having words with him about his behaviour. As a father, he wants the best for his daughter and he won’t be afraid to make his feelings heard. Judy also lives and breathes for her children and you don’t want to mess with her when it comes to her kids.”
