Urgent manhunt after little boy Jax Wilson, 2, snatched from family in broad daylight by couple who bundled him into car | The Sun

AN urgent manhunt has been launched after a toddler was kidnapped and bundled into a car in Australia.

Jax Wilson, two, was with his family in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, when he was taken in broad daylight.

Australian cops say the youngster was abducted from Little Street by a man and a woman known to him.

After taking Jax from a family member shortly after 2pm local time, they then drove off in a black 1996 Volkswagen Sedan.

It has a Victoria number plate, OAH 707.

NSW Police have issued an Amber Alert – which means a major search is underway.

Jax has been described as 70cm tall with blonde hair, a fair complexion, and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a pair of brown shorts and a colourful T-shirt.

Cops say they are seeking "urgent public assistance".

Anyone with relevant information is asked to immediately ring Triple Zero (000).
