Russell Brand once joked about ‘begging for threesomes’ and having an ‘orgy’ with his fans before ‘riding out on a river of sperm’.

The 48-year-old, who is facing accusations of rape and sexual assault – which he denies, cracked the rude gags during his sell-out Shame stand-up tour in 2006.

Talking to audiences, Brand joked about ‘womanising’, carrying out ‘depraved’ sex acts and even revealed how he made a ‘terrible mistake’ during a ‘sexual situation’.

He even joked about having an orgy with the crowd before saying he would ‘work through them on a one-to-one basis’, before insisting to women in the crowd he was ‘not unobtainable’.

During one segment of the show, the maverick comic also told his fans how he hated reading stories about himself in the press of his alleged sexual encounters.

Brand joked about an article in the The People newspaper in which he was branded ‘sleazy’, before joking that it was ‘quite realistic’ that he would beg for a threesome

‘It’s depressing. It’s ruined sex. It’s ruined it because if I’m having it off it might be going quite nice so I’ll be over someone I hear in my head “Brand loomed over the girl, the legendary swordsman unleashed his dinkle and sneered “I’m a sexy, wildman”. It puts you off sex,’ he said.

Later, he goes on to describe one particular article that appeared in one of the tabloids about how he ‘begged’ a woman for a threesome.

Brand said: ‘You have to read, kiss and tells, right? Look at this kiss and tell in The People (it’s) really upsetting: “Sleazy TV Russell begged me for a threesome with a cheap Kings Cross hooker”.

‘As if. Like, all right, begging for a threesome, that’s quite realistic. But you’re unlikely to find yourself in a situation where you’re begging for threesome and you say, “oh could I just say as a condition of this reason, could it be with someone who’s doing it just for financial reasons?”.’

Brand, a former star of the BBC and Channel 4, faces bombshell claims from women alleging sexual assaults, abuse and predatory behaviour – including one who was a 16-year-old schoolgirl.

Among the includes one from a businesswoman – who alleged Brand raped her when she refused a threesome – and another who said she was 16 when he choked her during a sexual act.

Brand vehemently denies the allegations and insists his relationships were always ‘consensual’.

Later in Brand’s comedy set, which has resurfaced following the explosive joint exposé between The Times, Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches, the comic jokes about having an orgy with his audience before ‘riding out on a river of sperm.’

‘We could do that. We could do that if we wanted to. We are free,’ he said. ‘We’re free to do that. Just strip and do that. There’s nothing to stop us. There is literally no law against it.

‘There’s one law, one law, indecent exposure. They give me time with that. We’re not going to do that are we? Because maybe someone’s here with their sister or so It’ll be awkward – we can’t really do an orgy.’

Brand, 48, was called out by a furious Sir Rod Stewart, 78, at the 2006 GQ Men Of The Year Awards after he claimed to have slept with the singer’s daughter Kimberly (pictured)

The comedian is currently facing allegations of sexual assaults and abusive and predatory behaviour between 2006 and 2013, when he was at the height of his fame (Kimberly and Russell pictured in 2006)

Joking he could instead ‘work through’ the audience on a ‘one-to-one basis in the bar’ afterwards, Brand then adds:  ‘I will say this, though, right? If you’re a single heterosexual woman… you might think maybe “he’s on the telly and that he is so unobtainable” – I’m not unobtainable. Let’s scotch that rumour.’

Later, Brand joked about making a ‘terrible mistake in a sexual situation’  where he ‘accidentally’ put on an American accent during sex.

Brand also told audiences how he was called out by a furious Sir Rod Stewart at the 2006 GQ Men Of The Year Awards after telling the audience he had slept with the singer’s model daughter Kimberly.

When taking to the stage at the bash to collect his gong, Brand made a very crude remark saying: ‘Here’s to Rod Stewart who had a go at me earlier this year for too much womanising’.

Before adding: ‘But then again I did have a go on his daughter’.

When Sir Rod, now 78, then collected his own trophy he made a point of blasting Russell for his comment.

Addressing him directly, the Maggie May hitmaker said: ‘You went with my daughter, did you? Russell, stand up.’

The comedian then seemingly lost all his bravado and could be heard sheepishly mumbling: ‘I took her out for one evening’.

A fuming Rod asked if Russell had behaved himself on said evening with the former Big Brother host backtracking and saying: ‘I never touched that girl’.

‘F***ing right you didn’t’ Rod snapped, ‘You mustn’t come up here and boast. I speak here as a father.’

Rod – who has eight children in total – shares Kimberly, now 44, and son Sean, 43, with ex-wife Alana, 78.

Brand reportedly attempted to make amends following the tense moment and the pair could be seen sharing a smile following the awards ceremony.

Joking about the exchange, Brand told audiences at his stand-up gig:  ‘It was a joke, right? Just a joke. I hadn’t had one.

It was a really awkward and embarrassing situation. I’m going to be winning an award for style; that man in his prime wore tiger f***ing leggings.’
