Susanna Reid waves goodbye to Good Morning Britain as she presents 'final show' | The Sun
December 13, 2023SUSANNA Reid has bid a fond festive "farewell" to Good Morning Britain.
The ITV anchor, 53, revealed it was her final show on Wednesday, where she was accompanied by regular co-host Ed Balls, 56.
Yet Good Morning Britain's early-morning fans need not fear, as the mum-of-three is merely taking time off for her annual Christmas break.
Susanna wished viewers a "huge Happy Christmas" shortly before the episode wrapped.
She spoke straight to the camera as she said: "I would just like to say a huge Happy Christmas to you all.
"Thank you so much for watching this year.

Good Morning Britain fans can’t believe Susanna Reid’s ‘real age’ on birthday
Yet it is likely to be regular show anchors Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, as well as newsreader Charlotte Hawkins.
Earlier this week, we revealed how GMB fans were left stunned when Susanna revealed her "real age."
The ITV favourite shared a fresh-faced snap with her mum to mark turning 53.
In her caption, she wrote: "53! Ageing is a blessing – so happy to be able to celebrate my happy birthday weekend with my mum and my family around me. Feeling loved and happy – thanks all."
Next year will mark Susanna’s 10th anniversary at GMB, and she’d chalked up over a decade at BBC Breakfast before that.
It means she’s been starting her day in the middle of the night for more than 20 years now and is so used to it that she’s straight up and at ‘em when the alarm goes off at 3.45am.
“There’s something wonderful about the fact that once that alarm goes off, I’m hurtling towards six o’clock," she told us.
“I need to read all the briefs, to know what’s in all the newspapers and on every main news website.
“I’ve got to be up to date with X [formerly Twitter].
“I need to have my hair and make-up done, see what they’ve got for me [to wear] in wardrobe and I have to attend the morning meeting.
