Married at First Sight fans issued the same complaint just minutes into the latest instalment of the E4 programme.

On Thursday (October 5), fans were introduced to four new contestants who married their partners just moments after meeting, join the social experiment as a late arrivals. Dance teacher Erica, 25, was paired with personal trainer Jordan, 26, while fashion brand owner JJ, 30, was met by hair extension specialist Bianca, 29, at the altar.

But before the show had properly kicked off, fans swarmed social media to fume over the intruders, admitting they would rather watch the original couples than new ones. One person wrote: "Might actually switch this off and be done with it. Cba to sit and watch 4 more couples get married, Brad treat Shona like s**t, and a bunch of couples who clearly aren't clicking but being forced to stay together. It's too repetitive now."

A second added: "I don't care about new couples I wanna see what the other ones are doing lol." Another viewer echoed: "New couple episodes are a difficult watch".

A third chimed: "Just when we’re getting used to the couples , they disturb the dynamic for the sake of TV ratings, not the well being of the contestants". Someone else agreed: "I really hate it when they add new couples half way through".

While a fifth questioned: "Why are we getting more couples??? I just want to see the drama unfold with the ones we've got!" Despite viewers not being keen on the new arrivals, they will no doubt shake things up within the social experiment.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, Jordan revealed that filming the dinner parties was "like Jeremy Kyle" as he compared the sit down meal with his co-stars to the show which famously aired explosive rows. He said: "The dinner parties are chaos.

"It starts off with one or two people disagreeing and everyone in there has got their own friends and their own circles, so everyone is on one side when their arguing. So it's either team A and team B and then everyone is involved. In the end, it's however many people are sitting around the dinner table all screaming and shouting at each other or cussing each other.

"I remember just sitting there just eating bread and looking at one side and then the other side. As the series goes on, the dinner parties get worse and worse. In the end it's like WWE."

JJ agreed: It's like an episode of Jeremy Kyle," as Jordan added: "Put it this way, when there's a dinner party they pay the security guard a good amount of money and their wages were going up and up. JJ said: "They put on extra security at some point as well."
