MAFS’ Tasha Jay sparks split rumours as she hugs YouTube star

Only a few months ago, Married at First Sight viewers watched childcare assistant Tasha Jay get married to account manager, Paul Liba. Both met for the first time at the altar and said their 'I do's' after putting their fate in the hands of the show's three relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas.

While their initial meeting gave us all hope that the two had met their perfect match, a recent sighting of Tasha cosying up to someone else at a party has sparked split rumours amongst fans.

To unpack, 25-year-old Tasha glammed up for the Pretty Little Thing Christmas party last night, Thursday 14 December, which was also attended by some of the Big Brother 2023 girls, including Olivia, Hallie, Yinrun, Noky and Chanelle.

Tasha rocked up to the event looking as stunning as ever, donning a black sparkly cut out jumpsuit complete with a bright orange baguette bag and her long curly hair down and framing her face. But while she turned heads with her bedazzled Christmas party fit, Tasha also made headlines as she appeared to be attending the event without her MAFS husband, Paul in tow.

Instead, she posted pictures to her Instagram of her and YouTube sensation Yung Filly, (whose real name is Andres Felipé Barrientos) snuggling up together for a photo. The first snap in the carousel showed Tash with Yung Filly's arm around her waist as they both smiled for the shot.

Naturally the photo of Tasha and Andres – plus Paul's absence from any of her pics – saw her 110K followers flock to the comment section to query over her relationship status.

"Did Paul and Tasha break up?" one fan questioned as a second echoed the sentiment, typing: "Where's her man?"

However, despite plenty of concerned fans wondering whether the Married at First Sight pair had split, Tasha set the record straight after she responded to one of the comments.

"No we are still together we just didn't take a picture together lol," the reality star replied to one of her fans, who quickly came back with a string of love heart emojis.

Elsewhere in the world of social media sleuthing, fans were also shocked to see Tasha and her MAFS cast mate Erica Roberts smiling for photos together.

Viewers will remember the pair coming to blows on the show over "bad energy" – but thanks to the photos, it looks like the pair are pals again.
