ELLIE Goulding and husband Caspar Jopling have been pictured together for the first time since reuniting as a couple.

The downcast pair – who we exclusively revealed had reunited this month, three months after a shock split – are giving things a second go for the sake of their young son.

Both Ellie, 36, and Caspar, 31, who tied the knot in 2019, ditched their wedding rings as they walked side by side in West London.

Art dealer Caspar, dressed in a cap, long sleeve blue shirt and white trousers, slung a scooter over his shoulder and held a helmet in his other hand, while Ellie, in a short sleeve shirt, loose trousers and yellow Aasics trainers walked close by.

The couple's fresh start is on the condition that Ellie cuts contact with Tory politician Zac Goldsmith, who she had been growing close to.

A source close to the singer previously told us: “Ellie has ended things with Zac for the sake of her marriage. She is determined to make things work with Caspar and is committed to giving things another go.

“Caspar has made it clear that they can only try again if she completely cuts off her friendship with Zac and she has agreed.

“That has meant no seeing each other, no calls and she’s even unfollowed him on Instagram.

“She knows it is the right thing to do for the sake of their young son because she wants them to be a proper family unit.

“It has been an incredibly tough year for both Ellie and Caspar but they have had some very frank conversations and are both on the same page. There is a lot of love between them.”

Zac's spokesperson declined to comment.

Ellie and Caspar’s hectic schedules earlier this year meant they had struggled to see each other, so they decided to spend time apart.

However, they were both insistent that they would remain close for the sake of their son.

Friends had hoped they would be able to rekindle their relationship, although her growing closeness to multi-millionaire peer Zac sparked concerns.

They became friendly after bonding over their shared passion for the environment.

That coincided with Zac’s divorce from his wife of ten years, Alice Rothschild, which was announced in March.
