Coronation Street star Anthony Crank returned to the cobbles as Dean Turnbull earlier this year much to the delight of fans.
Anthony, 49 returned to the cobbles in August playing the turbulent role of villain and drug dealer Dean who has notably been terrorising Cassie Plumber amid her drug addiction.
This is Anthony's fourth stint on Coronation Street having played the role of Dean twice as well as two other roles.
In 2011, he appeared as a police officer in scenes linked to Jim McDonald's armed robbery and in the same year reappeared in the same role, this time attending the burglary scene at Janice Battersby's house.
But viewers may also recognise Anthony who previously held roles in the likes of Hollyoaks and Shameless.
The actor starred in Channel 4's Hollyoaks as Steve – a TV presenter who visited the village twice in 2010.
Over a decade later in 2023 he returned to the soap as Kenneth – an investor for a local youth club and famously shared a kiss with John Paul McQueen.
During his time on Shameless from 2009 to 2012 Anthony played the role of Phil and later the role of Bill.
The actor also appeared in Accused in 2010 and five years later starred in BBC's The Syndicate in 2015.
He's also dabbled in presenting having hosted Channel 4's T4, MTV and ITV's Bingo Night Live and BBC's Holiday.
As the familiar face returns to Weatherfield, viewers are expected to see the hunk tangled in a series of dramatic storylines and have already seen him demanding drug money from Cassie.
On Monday Anthony took to Instagram to announce his arrival on the scene and wrote: "Dean’s back this week, still after that £50 and going nose to nipple with Rosseman Street’s very own Romy & Michelle, Dame."
But away from TV, Anthony can be found hitting the gym or posing for a series of topless selfies.
The star who hails from Manchester studied at Trinity College, Cambridge and moved to London when he was 23, he now lives with his adorable pooch.
Anthony who is dating hunk Craig Lomax has openly spoken out about being gay and has been involved in several movements and charities including The Albert Kennedy Trust and has hosted the Alternative Music Stage for Manchester Pride festival each year.
The TV star has kept the majority of his relationship fairly quiet but has shared the occasional loved-up snap as the couple jet away on holiday or hit the gym together.
Earlier this month Anthony attended one of the Pride events held across the country, thought to be Manchester and shared a series of photos with the caption: "Happy bloody Pride".
The soap star beamed as they celebrated love and partied the night away.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm
