Fans of BBC's Antiques Roadshow were left gobsmacked following the valuation of a rather creepy doll.
During Sunday's show (November 12) a guest brought a toy doll along with her to be valued. Talking to expert Bunny Campione, the guest said she never played with the doll as it belonged to her mother who inherited it from her great-grandmother.
Talking about the doll with appreciation, Bunny said it was beautifully dressed. She added: "What I love about her is that she has a French body. A French body means that it's wonderful kid leather."

"She was a very expensive doll in her time. She was probably made in Paris, I think she's one of the earliest I've seen, I think she's around 1860."
Highlighting other features of the doll, Bunny continued: "And her shoes! Look at her shoes, she's even got heels. She is wonderful."
The doll received a remarkably favourable reception from the expert. She then went on to value the item at £2,000.
But despite the pleasantries seen on screen, fans at home were less convinced. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: "It's a no from me. Terrifying."
Another shocked fan said: "An expensive doll. £2,000." A third added: "That doll. Put it in a metal box with a bible wrap it in chains and send it seaworthy!"
Meanwhile a fourth viewer joked that the doll will one day have a life of its own. The viewer wrote: "One day I will rise again and I will eat your children’s soul."
The doll which was called Lady Eleanor had hair made from a mountain goat. And according to expert Bunny it was in fabulous condition.
Elsewhere on the show, some viewers felt rather let down when they realised the programme had already aired on television before. The popular programme that took place in Kent had many fans hooked by some couldn't help but share their disappointment online.
One viewer took to X and wrote: "Rollercoaster of Sunday emotions. The elation of a hard earned draw at Brighton followed by the low when you realise #antiquesroadshow is a repeat!!!"
While another said: "This is a repeat. I've seen that Hockney before."
