This £18 red top looks just like the one Martine McCutcheon famously wore in Love Actually

It's the week before Christmas and work is winding down, so what better time than to play back-to-back Christmas movies? If you're like us you've already watched Love Actually at least once, so you're probably taking style notes from some of the characters.

Us? We're fully channelling Martine McCutcheon this month by investing in some pops of red to give our wardrobes a festive feel. If you watched the scene where she ends up on stage at a children's school nativity show, you'll know just the outfit we're talking about. The star, who plays unlucky-turned-lucky-in-love Natalie, is dressed head to toe in red for that scene, and we've been desperate to try out a similar outfit for ourselves.

Luckily, shop shelves are stacked with red items this season after Hailey Bieber declared the cherry red shade a fashion must-have. And if it's an off-the-shoulder Martine style you're after, we have just the dupe for you: Stradivarius' Red Off-The-Shoulder T-Shirt, £17.99 here.

If that top isn't available in your size, don't worry, we have plenty of other options to give you a perfect Christmas Eve or Day look – and even better, these are all available for delivery before this weekend.

Love Actually-inspired red buys

Cider has a great alternative to Martine and Stradivarius' off-the-shoulder jumper that you can get for only £16 here. Reviews claim that the top is 'super comfy' and 'really soft and sleek' – perfect for looking stylish while staying cosy.

If you're looking for something a bit more dressy than a jumper but want the same Love Actually look, ASOS has this gorgeous ruched off-the-shoulder top for £20 here.

Nobody's Child also has a ribbed jersey version of the jumper that is reduced in the sale for £19 here. Pair with a satin midi skirt and some sparkly earrings for a chilled Christmas day outfit.
