opened up about her special connection to Strictly Come Dancing, confessing she was finding it hard to \u201clet the show go\u201d in a new interview.<\/p>\n<p>Countryfile presenter Helen, 40, reached the finals of the BBC One dance show last year with her professional partner Gorka M\u00e1rquez.<\/p>\n<p><span>While it was Hamza Yassin and his dance partner Jowita Przysta\u0142 who walked away with the glitterball trophy, fans marvelled at how much confidence Helen had gained when it came to her dance ability. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Speaking on the <\/span><span>Spinning Plates<\/span><span> podcast with Murder on the Dancefloor songstress Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Helen admitted she would return to the show \u201cin a heartbeat\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Speaking about her continued friendship with her former dance partner, Helen shared: \u201cI went to have breakfast with Gorka yesterday and I was like, \u2018I need to let go, don\u2019t heartbeat.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Addressing former Strictly star Sophie, the Countryfile host said: \u201cAs you know, in that show, the make-up people are the best and they love what they do and they\u2019re so passionate. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd the same with the wardrobe people, the hair people, the choreographers\u2026 And you\u2019re just swallowed up by all that energy and passion and enthusiasm for what they do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sophie agreed that Strictly was just \u201clike nothing else\u201d, with the pair comparing it to being \u201cin Disneyland\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey have a real way to make you stand a bit taller,\u201d Helen reflected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Spinning Plates with Sophie Ellis-Bextor is available to listen to on
