<\/p>\nEX-Strictly star Amanda Abbington has revealed her dramatic new hairdo.<\/p>\n
The actress, 51, wowed friends and fans alike with her choppy, textured look.<\/p>\n

Scrunching up her face for the close-up selfie, Amanda wrote: "Finally got a haircut\u2026" followed by some emojis<\/span> that indicated she was undecided if it was the right decision.<\/p>\n Her following quickly answered that by telling Amanda how much they loved it.<\/p>\n Fianc\u00e9 Jonathan Goodwin commented: "I\u2019m so lucky."<\/p>\n Fellow Strictly star Ellie Leach posted: "erm obsessed ????"\u00a0<\/p>\n Michelle Visage said: "Love it."<\/p>\n While Dawn French wrote: "Yes indeedy."<\/p>\n The new 'do follows fans spotting a Strictly format shake-up after Amanda's shock exit from the show.<\/p>\n There is currently one less couple on the show than usual at this stage of the competition.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n As a result, the final is shaping up to be a three couple affair rather than the usual four, something which has been raised in a fan forum.<\/p>\n One viewer asked: "Are we having only 3 couples at finale?"<\/p>\n Another replied: "It looks that way yes."<\/p>\n It prompted a third to say: "I think it's such a shame and wish they wouldn't do it this way I don't see why they can't think of another way to do the Sunday show for the scheduling. Perhaps with some more behind the scenes insights."<\/p>\n However, others are keeping an open mind and believe bosses were left with little choice.<\/p>\n One asked: "I like to be open to new ideas on how things are done, but what ideas would you have for the show if you were a producer or whatever?"<\/p>\n Amanda missed week six due to medical reasons before announcing her departure two days later.<\/p>\n Early in her tenure on the show she had a fractious relationship with dance partner Giovanni Pernice, but they performed very well on the dance floor and it appeared as if they had sorted their differences.<\/p>\n However, the shock exit, just as they were emerging as dark horses for the glitterball, put the spotlight back on their relationship and neither has mentioned the other since.<\/p>\nREAD MORE ON STRICTLY<\/h2>\n
