An American couple who moved to Oxford have revealed the various reasons they skipped out on living in London.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Helena and Michael Sula live a life filled with adventure, and are constantly packing up their things and finding a new place to call home.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Most recently, the lovebirds relocated from Dallas, Texas, to Oxford, United Kingdom, and have been documenting their journey on their TikTok\u00a0to their more than 274,000 followers.<\/p>\n
And while London is the capital of England, the couple opted for the less populated city because they wanted to live ‘somewhere smaller’ and the soaring cost of living.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most recently, the lovebirds relocated from Dallas, Texas, to Oxford. They shared why they chose to move to the less populated city over London<\/p>\n

In a clip, which has so far amassed more than 30,000 views, Helena revealed why she and her husband decided not to relocate to London.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She captioned the video: ‘I love London, I just knew it wasn’t for me.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘London was just named the best city in the world, here’s why we chose not to live there,’ the travel blogger said at the beginning of the clip.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She began by noting that the couple wanted to live somewhere smaller.\u00a0<\/p>\n
London has a population of 9,648,000 while Oxford has a population of 162,222, according to the World Population Review.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Helena also raved about the transportation in Oxford, which is about one hour away from London.<\/p>\n
‘Oxford is also bike-able so we can get everywhere we need to go on a bike,’ she said while showing a clip of the couple biking through the county.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Helena noted that London’s public transportation was crowded and the ‘overall cleanliness is not great.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Helena noted that London was too big for the couple as they didn’t want to deal with ‘big city problems’<\/p>\n

The jet-setter then noted that London was much more expensive to live in, adding that it was out of their price range<\/p>\n

She explained: ‘London is expensive. Housing prices are much higher, especially if you want a garden like we did with our two dogs.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the end of the clip, she said: ‘I think London is incredible, which is why I chose to move to Oxford, a city close to London. It’s just not for me.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
