It was very authoritarian and very commanding but was way too stentorian.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was my stage background, and it didn\u2019t work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> <strong> READ MORE: <\/strong> <strong>BBC quietly axe Match of the Day spin-off fronted by Jermaine Jenas[LATEST] <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/20\/590x\/secondary\/stewart-ralph-fiennes-5023270.jpg?r=1697795847170\"><\/p>\n<p>The 83-year old had built up a reputation in British theatre after 14 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company.<\/p>\n<p>In 1986, he was offered a six-year deal to star in a new sci-fi series called Star Trek: The Next Generation.<\/p>\n<p>The actor ended up playing the role of Picard for seven seasons and also made four Star Trek movies.<\/p>\n<p>He recently returned to the role for three seasons in the 2020 series of Star Trek: Picard.<\/p>\n<p>The theatre legend added: &#8220;In the second series I was much better because I had been working with very good American actors.<\/p>\n<p> <strong> Don&#8217;t miss&#8230;
