{"id":142836,"date":"2023-10-18T03:47:06","date_gmt":"2023-10-18T03:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theprojectsworld.com\/?p=142836"},"modified":"2023-10-18T03:47:06","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T03:47:06","slug":"travis-kelce-takes-three-hours-to-pick-his-outfits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theprojectsworld.com\/sport\/travis-kelce-takes-three-hours-to-pick-his-outfits\/","title":{"rendered":"Travis Kelce takes THREE HOURS to pick his outfits"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Travis Kelce takes THREE HOURS to pick his gameday outfits, turned a bedroom into a wardrobe and admits his fashion sense is &#8216;not for everybody&#8217; &#8211; as Taylor Swift&#8217;s boyfriend lifts the lid on how he stays in style<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Travis Kelce has hit headlines in recent weeks for his Taylor Swift relationship<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Chiefs star has opened up on his love of fashion in a recent interview<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>DailyMail.com provides all the latest international sports news\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Travis Kelce has long had an exuberant fashion interest &#8211; long before his profile took a huge upward spiral with the Kansas City Chiefs star dating Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n<p>The two-time Super Bowl winner, 34, has carved out a reputation as a sharp-dresser and has often turned up to games in diamond earrings and Louis Vuitton jackets.<\/p>\n<p>But now, speaking to the Wall Street Journal, with scrutiny on his fashion sense like never before, the Chiefs star has opened up to fans about how he decides what to wear ahead of a big game or night out.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I kind of just do it off of instinct,&#8217; he said, before admitting it can take him up to three hours before he has finally settled on what to wear before a game.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It really just goes down to the wire,&#8217; he explained. &#8216;I kind of enjoy the creative process of the panic to just throw something together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/01\/76687361-12642637-image-a-15_1697590108614.jpg\" height=\"773\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Travis Kelce has opened up on his love of fashion &#8211; with attention on his dress sense like never before given that he is dating Taylor Swift<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/01\/76687357-12642637-image-m-21_1697590564943.jpg\" height=\"580\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/01\/76687365-12642637-image-a-22_1697590570249.jpg\" height=\"580\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Kelce, 34, told the Wall Street Journal he can take up to three hours to decide on an outfit<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/01\/76687359-12642637-image-a-18_1697590116494.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kelce said that he enjoys the &#8216;creative process&#8217; of choosing his clothes before heading out<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Obviously, not every look is for everybody. I\u2019m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I\u2019m gonna have fun with it. For the most part, I do it to put a smile on somebody\u2019s face.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Kelce &#8211; one of the best tight ends in the NFL &#8211; signed a new four-year deal with the Chiefs worth $57.25m, and he admitted that clothes are one of the main things he spends his money on.<\/p>\n<p>He even apparently told the WSJ that he converted a bedroom in his house into a wardrobe that has over 300 pairs of sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Money gave me access to certain designers and just certain fabrics that I absolutely love now,&#8217; he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But to many hundreds of thousands of his fans in America, he is loved best in the red-and-white Chiefs jersey with his No 87 emblazoned across the middle.<\/p>\n<p>It is a look that might just be surfacing across the country, as well &#8211; the NFL reported a 400% surge in his jersey sales once he was linked to Swift.<\/p>\n<p>Kelce was outstanding in his team&#8217;s last game &#8211; a 19-8 victory against Denver Broncos where Swift was in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer him on.<\/p>\n<p>He even played through the pain barrier after spraining his ankle when he rolled it on the turf in his team&#8217;s previous game, a 27-20 win over Minnesota Vikings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/01\/76687363-12642637-image-a-19_1697590136133.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kelce admitted that the money he has made from football allows him to spend big on clothes<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/18\/02\/76687457-12642637-image-m-23_1697590928758.jpg\" height=\"765\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>For many fans, Kelce is best loved when he is wearing his No 87 Kansas City Chiefs jersey\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s had a 10-day break since the Broncos win, where he headed to New York to spend time with Swift, and it came at a good time professionally given he has been able to rest the ankle for a little longer than usual.<\/p>\n<p>And it will also have given him more time to select his next gameday outfit.
