<\/p>\nTHE Crown has finally confirmed the release date for its final ever series as the show reaches a dramatic ending – but bosses have a huge twist in store.<\/p>\n
In order to maximise the drama, the sixth series will be split into two halves released a month apart. <\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
Covering the span of 1997 through to 2005, the Netflix show will bring viewers into the current century with all the goings-on of The Royal Family. <\/p>\n
The first edition will debut on the streaming service on November 16 followed by the final ever six episodes on December 14. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
In part one of the show, Elizabeth Debicki\u00a0reprises her role as Princess Diana\u00a0as the show focuses on her final year across four episodes. <\/p>\n
Co-staring with Dominic West\u00a0as Prince<\/span> Charles, fans will see her romance with Dodi Fayed play out on screen.<\/p>\n It will also feature Diana's fateful car journey and the devastating aftermath. <\/p>\n Rufus Kampa\u00a0and Fflyn Edwards\u00a0will also make their first appearances on the show as they take on the role of Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. <\/p>\n The second chapter, set to debut on the streaming giant in December, will air across six episodes and bring fans into the mid-noughties. <\/p>\n A synospsis for the final chapter reads: "Prince<\/span> William<\/span> tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother\u2019s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion<\/span>. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\nMore on The Crown <\/h2>\n
