Over the next few weeks, the housemates will become part of the social experiment which made the likes of Alison Hammond, Brian Dowling and Kate Lawler household names.<\/p>\n<p>AJ Odudu and Will Best have followed in the footsteps of Davina McCall, Brian Dowling and Emma Willis and are the first-ever duo to present the programme. Speaking about taking on the iconic role, AJ said: &quot;The pressure is on, it&apos;s a big show, it&apos;s everyone&apos;s baby. Past series included a smoking area in the garden &#8211; where a lot of the drama and gossip went down. But this year&#x2019;s housemates instead have a closed-off room to smoke with no cameras, bar a microphone.<\/p>\n<p>Hearing the news, fans were fuming over the change. Rushing over to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person penned: &#x201C;The fact that Big Brother won&#x2019;t have a smoking area is a crime against humanity.&#x201D;<\/p>\n<p>Someone else added: &#x201C;The smoking area was the best part of Big Brother. But they want to be kinder to axed contestants when grilling them about their time in the house.<\/p>\n<p>The pair opened up about how they intend to act following a greater. However, as it stands, the evicted housemates will still have to face the audience, which famously booed contestants who weren&apos;t liked.<\/p>\n<p>AJ said: &quot;I do feel a responsibility towards the housemates&apos; mental health, for sure. They may come out to a baying audience on eviction night, but I think it&apos;s up to me and Will to put our arm round them and give them an opportunity to share their side of the story.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We&apos;re still going to ask the important questions that viewers want to know, and I still want the housemates to spill the tea.
