There\u2019s a massive shock in store for Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) in tonight (September 19)\u2019s Coronation Street when work starts on his new building site \u2013 and a grisly discovery is made.<\/p>\n
The delayed diggers finally arrive at the site and the work can begin. Site manager Neil reminds his workers that they have to wear hard hats at all times on the site. Ed asks Neil to keep an eye on that issue because health and safety isn\u2019t a joke.<\/p>\n
\u2018We don\u2019t want anyone ending up six feet under,\u2019 he says \u2013 a remark that turns out to be an accurate prediction of the events that are about to unfold.<\/p>\n
A shocked worker calls Ed over, asking him to come and look at something. As Ed walks over and looks at what the digger has uncovered, he looks shocked.<\/p>\n

This is the moment when Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce)\u2019s crimes start to come to light, as the digger has uncovered a dead body.<\/p>\n
Everything starts to unravel for Stephen from now on, as it won\u2019t be long before news of the gruesome discovery makes its way back to him. And things get even worse when it\u2019s confirmed that the body is that of Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost), Stephen\u2019s first victim.<\/p>\n

Viewers will remember that Stephen killed Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews)\u2019s partner Leo when he got too close to finding out that Stephen was trying to cheat Audrey (Sue Nicholls) out of her money. A fight between the two men on the factory gantry led to Leo hitting his head and ending up in a bin.<\/p>\n
Following this murder, Stephen also killed Leo dad Teddy (Grant Burgin). His third victim was businessman Rufus, whom he drowned in a swimming pool after drugging him.<\/p>\n
The storyline will eventually reach its climax in Super Soap Week in October and we know that Todd Boyce has already filmed his final scenes.<\/p>\n
Between now and then there\u2019s going to be huge drama in the Street as Stephen\u2019s crimes gradually come to light and an increasingly desperate Stephen tries to cover his tracks \u2013 by any means necessary.<\/p>\n
