B*WITCHED singer\u00a0<\/strong>Edele Lynch has swapped her singing career for a very different day job after shooting to fame in the 1990s.<\/p>\n

Edele, 43, enjoyed success along with her other bandmates – twin sister, Keavy, Lindsay Armaou and Sin\u00e9ad O'Carroll with some of their smash hits such as C'est La Vie and Blame It On The Weatherman.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Fast forward over two decades and Edele has a very surprising job away from the limelight.<\/p>\n

She recently revealed in an\u00a0interview\u00a0that she went back to school to be trained as a neuromuscular therapist and currently works as a neuromuscular therapist and personal training.<\/p>\n

The band was first formed in 1998 when Edele and Keavy decided to start a group with their friend Sinead.<\/p>\n

B*Witched enjoyed huge success worldwide, becoming the first act in history to have their first four singles debut at number one in the UK.<\/p>\n

However, in 2002 after their huge success and touring all over the world the band decided to split.<\/p>\n

Since then Edele has had a sexy makeover, colouring her hair blonde and taking up yoga.<\/p>\n

In 2013, she won Celebrity Apprentice Ireland and then the next year starred on Celebrity Big Brother.<\/p>\n

The mum-of-three now lives in Manchester and married ex-husband Michael Barrett in 2006 after only a short time together, but the couple eventually split in 2014.<\/p>\n

Edele moved to Manchester to her sister's place after losing her B*Witched earnings she had invested in property.<\/p>\n

The singer who worked as a songwriter after the group split has wanted to get into acting but her pop past has got in the way.<\/p>\n

She said:\u00a0\u201cIt made it really quite difficult. My agent even says to me, she\u2019s like, \u2018You\u2019re definitely a hard sell because of where you came from.\u2019\u00a0 And obviously I\u2019m an older woman starting out acting too, it\u2019s not like I\u2019ve been acting since I was 10. It does get in the way sometimes.<\/p>\n

"It gets in the way even to move forward in music, for God\u2019s sake. They just put you in this little box called C\u2019est La Vie and you can\u2019t get out. And it\u2019s like, you know that was 22 years ago, you can let me out now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Edele made these admissions when the B*Witched girls reunited last year to\u00a0host a podcast called Starting Over.<\/p>\n
