<\/p>\nA MUM has revealed how she\u2019s defeated her arch-enemy – her hairy double chin.<\/p>\n
Debbie weighs in at 20st and confessed that she has always hated her looks and curves.<\/p>\n

Top of the list of her pet peeves was her double chin, and she\u2019d take steps to make sure no-one else saw it.<\/p>\n
Now she\u2019s learned the key to defeating the enemy that\u2019s dogged her for years is just being at peace with how she looks.<\/p>\n
Debbie, 52, said: \u201cI used to be so embarrassed about my double chin.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt's the last thing to go if I lose weight and the first thing to expand if I put it on.<\/p>\n
\u201cI'd delete every photo that showed it and in selfies I'd hold the phone high and look up so it wouldn't be seen.<\/p>\n
\u201cI still do that but now I\u2019ll also post pictures online that happen to capture my chins. At the end of the day it\u2019s part of me and I don\u2019t think they\u2019re going away any time soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
The single mum has spent most of her life thinking she was frumpy and ugly.<\/p>\n
But everything changed for her when she signed up to dating apps for the first time after her marriage collapsed.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n She was amazed to discover that she was suddenly hot property with guys desperate to date her.<\/p>\n Debbie ended up in a relationship with a toyboy aged 28 who adored her size 26 curves and taught her to appreciate them too.<\/p>\n He even bought her an unusual gift to make his point.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cHe is very open about only finding plus size women attractive and really made me embrace my size.\u00a0 He hated it when I didn't show my double chin in pictures.<\/p>\n \u201cSo he had a photo of my face, complete with chin, enlarged onto a large canvas.<\/p>\n \u201cIt now has pride of place in my bedroom to show me I can still look beautiful even with extra chins.\u201d<\/p>\n Over the years Debbie has learned that most people don\u2019t like their bodies and struggle with how they look.<\/p>\n She\u2019s now clocked up thousands of followers on Intagram under her alter ego Curlywoo.<\/p>\n And she proudly promotes the message that no woman is ever past her prime.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Debbie is determined to get everyone to accept that they are beautiful with loads to offer.<\/p>\n She added: \u201cWe are all queens and goddesses in our own way.<\/p>\n \u201cSome of the unhappiest women I know are slim but they are so obsessed with not even putting on a pound that they never enjoy their life.\u201d<\/p>\n Part of her mission was coming to terms with her own size 26 curves and the rest of her looks.<\/p>\n She added: \u201cI accept my ever increasingly hairy chin and my disappearing eyebrows.<\/p>\n \u201cI also accept my greying roots, the lines under my eyes and my facial mole which seems to have spawned a baby.<\/p>\n \u201cI'm nearly 53 and a single mother with two wonderful children.<\/p>\n \u201cI have an amazing supportive network of friends, neighbours and family. I work full time and I own my own house.\u00a0 I have so much to be happy, proud and grateful for.\u00a0 What's a double chin and a saggy belly to all that? Absolutely nothing?\u201d<\/p>\n Debbie, from the West Midlands, also has some words of wisdom for other women who hate how they look.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cIgnore those that try to put you down. Love and accept yourselves, your flaws and your body.
