{"id":141050,"date":"2023-08-29T02:40:57","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T02:40:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theprojectsworld.com\/?p=141050"},"modified":"2023-08-29T02:40:57","modified_gmt":"2023-08-29T02:40:57","slug":"friends-of-epstein-have-given-more-than-100000-to-ramaswamys-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theprojectsworld.com\/world-news\/friends-of-epstein-have-given-more-than-100000-to-ramaswamys-run\/","title":{"rendered":"Friends of Epstein have given more than $100,000 to Ramaswamy&apos;s run"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Friends of Jeffrey Epstein have given more than $100,000 to Vivek Ramaswamy&#8217;s 2024 run even as he demands full transparency of disgraced financier&#8217;s clients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Glenn Dubin and his wife are major donors to Vivek Ramaswamy&#8217;s campaign<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The billionaire gave $100,000 to a super PAC linked to the biotech entrepreneur<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Eva Andersson-Dubin once dated Jeffrey Epstein and they remained close<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Close friends of the late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein are major donors to an outside group supporting Vivek Ramaswamy&#8217;s presidential run and to his 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Official filings show that billionaire Glenn Dubin gave $100,000 in March to American Exceptionalism, a super PAC which is supporting the biotech entrepreneur and presidential hopeful.<\/p>\n<p>Dubin and his wife, former Miss Sweden Eva\u00a0Andersson-Dubin who gave evidence in support of Epstein&#8217;s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, also gave a total of $13,200 (the maximum allowed) to Ramaswamy&#8217;s campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein, who took his own life while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in 2019, was a prolific political donor and he had extensive ties throughout elite financial and social circles.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, details of his associates&#8217; connections will be deeply embarrassing to Ramaswamy after he demanded full transparency in the Epstein case.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74807691-12453903-image-a-30_1693256426981.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Glenn Dubin and his wife Eva have given more than $100,000 to Vivek Ramamswamy&#8217;s campaign and a super PAC backing his anti-establishment 2024 run for the White House<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74807689-12453903-image-a-31_1693256502278.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Ramaswamy&#8217;s campaign has gained momentum as his anti-woke message resonates<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;ll release the full Epstein client list without apology,&#8217; he tweeted in May.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The administrative-police state should stop protecting its chief sponsors while weaponizing itself against its opponents. The first step to fix corruption is to see it.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>But his campaign on Monday batted away questions about whether it was appropriate to accept donations from the Dubins.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Vivek has no knowledge of this, just as he doesn&#8217;t know of any of the one-off accusations against any of his 100,000-plus individual donors to the campaign, let alone those who donate to outside efforts that Vivek isn&#8217;t involved with,&#8217; said spokeswoman\u00a0Tricia McLaughlin.<\/p>\n<p>The Dubins were close friends of Epstein. Andersson-Dubin dated him for years before marrying her husband in 1994, and the couple remained in contact with him even after he was convicted of procuring a child for prostitution in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>He was godfather to their children and\u00a0Epstein spent his first Thanksgiving after leaving prison with the family. Andersson-Dubin wrote to his probation officer saying she was &#8216;100 percent comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around my children,&#8217; according to Business Insider.<\/p>\n<p>When Maxwell went on trial accused of child sex trafficking, the former Miss Sweden had to deny allegations that she joined an orgy.<\/p>\n<p>Dubin stepped back from the limelight and from the hedge fund industry where he made his money in 2020. (Today Forbes estimates his wealth at $2.8 billion.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74807699-12453903-image-a-32_1693256544498.jpg\" height=\"201\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Dubin donated $100,000 to the Ramamswamy-aligned American Exceptionalism super PAC<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74807703-12453903-image-a-33_1693256564645.jpg\" height=\"536\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jeffrey Epstein took his own life while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in 2019 and was a prolific political donor with extensive ties throughout elite financial and social circles<\/p>\n<p>But filings at the Federal Election Commission show he and his wife remain active in\u00a0 backing political candidates.<\/p>\n<p>They have generally donated to Democratic candidates, giving more than $800,000 over the years.<\/p>\n<p>But in 2023, they both backed Ramaswamy&#8217;s longshot run for the White House, donating $3,300 each to his primary campaign and general election campaign, as well as the political action committee that is supporting his candidacy.<\/p>\n<p>Ramaswamy has been the surprise package of the race for the Republican nomination so far.<\/p>\n<p>He has taken second place in some national polls of Republican voters and a survey for DailyMail.com last week found that he was judged the winner of the first debate by viewers.<\/p>\n<p>He is running as Trump 2.0, claiming he has the political and technocratic skills to pick apart the Washington swamp and strip down what he calls the &#8216;administrative state.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>At times he has leant into unproven conspiracy theories around the events of 9\/11 and the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I think it is legitimate to say how many police, how many federal agents, were on the planes that hit the Twin Towers,&#8217; said, in a profile published by the Atlantic recently.<\/p>\n<p>He later claimed he was misquoted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74808719-12453903-image-a-34_1693256650260.jpg\" height=\"530\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Andersson-Dubin leaving the Manhattan federal courthouse in December 2021 after testifying for the defense during the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell. She described how she continued to visit Epstein at his Palm Beach home after she married another man<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74808729-12453903-image-a-35_1693256656133.jpg\" height=\"464\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>In her evidence she denied claims made by another witness that she took part in group sex encounters with an underage girl<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/28\/22\/74807687-12453903-image-a-36_1693257165427.jpg\" height=\"426\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Dubin is worth $2.8 billion according to Forbes, and generally donated to Democratic causes before getting behind Republican 2024 candidate Ramaswamy this year<\/p>\n<p>In the same profile, he lumped in the Epstein case with other questions he said were being hidden as he demanded &#8216;truth&#8217; for the American public.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That&#8217;s, that&#8217;s really, when I say we deserve \u2014 and I don\u2019t think we\u2019ve gotten it on any of those questions. On the Jeffrey Epstein client list, on unidentified flying objects, on January 6, on vaccine \u2014 on COVID-19 vaccine \u2014 on the origin of the pandemic, which we now know, by the way, systematic efforts by people who had no idea what the origin was to shoot down the origin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Dubin donation of $100,000 represents almost a fifth of all the money taken in by the Ramaswamy-aligned American Exceptionalism PAC since February.<\/p>\n<p>Dubin had business ties with Epstein, dating to before his conviction.
