Woman, 35, murdered by infatuated neighbour who bit off parts of her face and sexually abused her in gruesome attack | The Sun
June 24, 2023A WOMAN was murdered by her obsessed neighbour who bit off parts of her face and sexually abused her in a gruesome attack.
Rawden Ibbitson, 32, spent an hour torturing 35-year-old Jennifer Andrews to death after his infatuation turned deadly.
The monster caused more than 90 injuries, including a bleed on the brain, multiple fractures and internal injuries.
Ibbitson was jailed for life with a minimum of 29 years after he admitted murder and sexual assault.
His grim attack can now be revealed in full after a reporting restriction that banned naming Jennifer was lifted.
Leeds Crown Court heard how Ibbitson had become "obsessed" with Jennifer, who lived opposite him.

The fiend bombarded her with messages about how he wanted a relationship with her and sent chilling threats.
One warned her to "sleep with one eye open", while Ibbitson also told Jennifer he would pull her teeth out with pliers.
Terrified Jennifer had told a friend how she was "living in a nightmare" before her death on June 6 last year.
She was left "virtually unrecognisable" after Ibbitson battered her to death.

A post mortem showed she had 13 bite marks on her face, breasts, abdomen, back, forearms and thigh.
Jennifer had also suffered a fractured rib, bleeding around her heart, bleeding in her stomach and internal injuries.
The court was told Ibbitson had previously been diagnosed with mixed personality disorder, made worse by his use of alcohol and drugs.
Sentencing, Judge Tom Bayliss KC described the killer's actions as demonstrating "unspeakable cruelty".
He said: "The level of sustained violence and the nature and extent of the injuries inflicted upon your victim drive the conclusion that, even if you may not have had such an intention when this assault began, you must have formed an intention to kill as the assault progressed."
Jennifer's heartbroken family said: "Jenni was such a beautiful and friendly person who was very much loved by us all, she was an excellent mother.
"We are absolutely heartbroken and ask that people respect our privacy at what continues to be a very difficult time for ourselves and all those who knew and loved Jenni."
