Ugent search for girl, 12, missing in Banbury, Oxfordshire

Police launch urgent search for girl, 12, missing in Oxfordshire as they say they are ‘increasingly concerned’ for her welfare

  • Evie Bratt, 12, was last seen in Banbury, Oxfordshire at 7.20pm on Monday night
  • Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace the schoolgirl
  • The police and Evie’s family are ‘increasingly concerned’ for her welfare

An urgent search is in progress for a missing girl as police grow, ‘increasingly concerned for her welfare’.  

Evie Bratt, aged 12, was last seen in Banbury, Oxfordshire at around 7.20pm on Monday, wearing black leggings and a large blue Nike hoodie. 

She is described as being a white girl, around 5ft tall of slim build with strawberry blonde/light brown long hair.

Evie also has blue eyes and sometimes wears glasses.

Investigating officer Sergeant Paul Smith, based at Banbury police station, said: ‘I am appealing for help in locating Evie.

‘We are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.’

He added: ‘I would ask that anyone who believes they have seen her, or has information on her whereabouts, to please make contact with Thames Valley Police.

‘If you see this Evie, please get in touch with either the police or your family.

‘We just want to make sure you are safe and well.’
