UK outlook Monday 10 Dec 2018 to Wednesday 19 Dec 2018:

In the west the weather will start settled but wintry times could be coming in the east as scattered showers are likely. Slow moving weather patterns will start from the mid-week bringing showers and easterly winds to many parts of the country which could be colder away from the coastal areas.  Freezing fog and overt night frosting are also likely.  The west and northwest will see most of the wet and windy weather but the south will be affected by rain at times with a small chance of hill snow. The temperatures will be rather cold but likely milder in the west.
