This is the heart-stopping moment a driver behind the wheel of one of Britain’s fastest cars slammed into a family home after losing control on an icy road.
The £53,000 Audi RS3 hatchback, which can reach blistering speeds of 184mph, ended up wrecked in a pile of rubble after damaging two houses in Leeds.
The driver, since arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and other drug offences, allegedly lost control on a bend in the icy conditions, with the car bouncing off a green 4×4 and skidding across three gardens.
CCTV footage of the crash showed the blue vehicle flying off the road and tearing through a wall moments before it crunches to a sudden stop after blasting into a bay window.

Two men are then seen scrambling away from the wrecked motor as smoke begins billowing out from the bonnet.
As one of the men tries to run away from the destroyed hatchback, he is seen slipping over in the road – possibly on some ice – and falling flat on his back.
Remarkably, despite the trail of destruction caused by the runaway Audi, nobody was injured.
The carnage happened on Tuesday, December 27, at 9.30am in Roundhay Grove, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Eye witnesses said the ‘the whole house shook’ as the hatchback ploughed into it before coming to rest in a cloud of dust and debris.

Pictures from the aftermath of the crash show rubble strewn across gardens and the street, with a small area cordoned off by red and white tape.
One of the houses – understood to have been undergoing renovation – was left with a gaping hole in it where the Audi had careened into the front room.
The bay window of the house next door was also ruined, with its windows smashed and fittings crumpled.
Meanwhile, two large tyre tracks were gouged into the grass of one of the properties damaged in the post-Boxing Day collision.
And a green 4×4, parked in the drive of the first house, is understood to have been written off during the accident, after being clipped by the Audi.
Police have since arrested two men following the crash, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed.

A spokesman for the force told MailOnline: ‘Following enquiries, a 31-year-old man in the car was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and drugs offences.
‘A second man was arrested and later charged with possession of a controlled drug.
‘Enquiries remain ongoing.’
Residents in the street had been calling for speed humps to be installed in road after a spate of anti-social driving.
Fire fighters and police raced to the scene which was cordoned off for a painstaking forensic examination.
One person who was there said: ‘One house has just been renovated, nobody was home.
‘Next door the occupants were in the house when it happened. No one in the house has been injured.’
