Porn star arrested for masterminding murder-for-hire plot

A porn star has been busted for allegedly masterminding a murder-for-hire plot, authorities said.

Federal agents nabbed Katrina Danforth — who performs under the names Lynn Passion and Lynn Pleasant — Wednesday morning at Spokane International Airport in Washington for trying to hire a hitman to kill someone identified only as “H.R.” in court papers.

The 31-year-old is accused of using a phone four times and the mail once between Oct. 20 and Nov. 10 in an attempt to get a hitman.

The intended victim lives in Idaho and hasn’t been harmed, Assistant US Attorney Traci Whelan confirmed to the Spokesman-Review.

Shortly after her arrest, the XXX actress told local outlet KHQ that she had no idea why US Marshals had cuffed her.

“I don’t really know, precisely …,” said Danforth.

In a February 2016 tweet to fans, Danforth said she was “not shooting porn anymore.” But her account said she was available for “phone sex” on Oct. 17 and her Instagram account lists her as a porn star from North Dakota.

She made eight adult films between 2005 and 2010, according to her IMDb page.

At a Wednesday hearing, Danforth told US Magistrate Judge John Rodgers that she couldn’t afford her own lawyer.

She faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each of the five counts.

Danforth is being held in Spokane County Jail. Her next court date is Dec. 21.
