Mystery as boyfriend of Kim Kardashian lookalike Missy Hernandez arrested for her murder – but missing mom not yet found

January 30, 2022

A CALIFORNIA man was arrested for the murder of Missy Hernandez, but her body has still not been found, authorities announced on Thursday.

The 30-year-old mother, who strongly resembles Kim Kardashian, was last seen on the night of December 7, when she left an art show in Fresno with her boyfriend Ramon Jimenez, according to officials.

On December 8, Hernandez's friends contacted the Fresno County Sheriff's Office because they were unable to get ahold of her, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office.

"Missy is a very social person who is out in the public view regularly, so for her to not be responsive or seen was considered unusual," said Tony Botti, a spokesperson for the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy responded to Hernandez's home in the Fresco area, where she was no where to be found.

While in the missing mother's home, the deputy made contact with Jimenez, and recognized him as a wanted person for domestic violence at the same address.

In October, Missy had filed a domestic violence report against her boyfriend, but deputies couldn't locate Jimenez at that time.

The deputy took Jimenez into custody on December 8 and booked him in the Fresno County Jail.

Due to evidence collected at Missy's home, the "detectives identified Ramon Jimenez as a person of interest and made a request to a judge that he be held without eligibility for bail, which was approved," according to the press release.

In the investigation since Jimenez's arrest, detectives have collected an "overwhelming" amount of digital and forensic evidence, says officials.

The murder charge against Ramon Jimenez was added on January 11.

Officials believe that Hernandez is most likely dead.

"Based on the evidence and the length of time Missy has been gone, detectives have reason to believe she is dead and Jimenez is responsible for her death," says the release.

Jimenez has appeared in court once already and his next arraignment is set for March 22, where he will have an attorney officially appointed for him.

According to her family, Hernandez has a 12-year-old daughter, though it's unclear if she was living with her.

Missy's daughter is "safe and with her other family members right now," officials told The Sun.

Hernandez apparently has a lot of pets—including hairless cats, according to an Instagram post made by her friend.

She also has family in Texas, who said that she sometimes goes by the name Missy Perez.

Anyone with information is asked to call Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867 or Detective Gary Haslam at (559) 367-4734.
