It will remain dry for many with some cloud and patchy fog at the start of the day.

UK weather forecast for 6am on Monday

Today we can expect a foggy start to the day across the country with chillier start for those in the south of the UK.

It will remain dry for the majority of Brits, however the northwest may experience more cloud and the possibility of some patchy rain.

Elsewhere we can expect to see hazy sunshine throughout the day.

The temperature will continue to be very mild and have the same spring-like feel we've had for the past few days.

Across the UK we can expect to see a change to less mild and more changeable conditions.

Parts of the country may see showery rain, especially the northwest which is likely to see wetter, windier conditions.

It is set to be less mild than recently with overnight frosts still possible.

Wet and windy weather is also likely to spread across the country by early next week, however this will be interspersed with drier, brighter periods.

Strong winds and gales are set for the northwest, with snow at times over higher ground.

Temperatures should return nearer to normal, feeling colder especially during windy spells.

The wettest, windiest weather remains most likely in the west with the drier, brighter weather extending from the south into central parts at times.

Spells of cloud are to be expected during this period, with some rain and stronger winds.

Temperatures will fluctuate day-to-day but overall could be slightly above average.
