A majority of likely voters from numerous battleground states named Karen favor Joe Biden to be the next president, according to a new poll.

Sixty percent of Karens — a name used as a pejorative for nit-picky middle-aged white women — are leaning towards Biden, according to a poll released Monday by The New York Times and Siena College.

The poll, conducted since September, asked more than 17,000 likely voters from 18 battleground states their preference for president and compiled the results by their first names.

Karen was among the 10 most common first names of responders. People named Richard represented the most common name with the heaviest support for President Trump — at 64 percent.

The results of the poll included 102 first names, each of which account for at least 30 respondents.

Overall, Donald’s gave Trump his widest margin of support over Biden — at 68 percent in favor of the president compared to 19 percent for the former vice president.

Those with the same last name as Biden were split even between him and Trump with 45 percent support for each.
