Major transit delays Monday due to snowfall across Metro Vancouver

Transit is experiencing some delays Monday due to the snowfall that hit the Metro Vancouver region.

TransLink says there are delays and gaps in service due to the weather and heavy passenger loads.

The Expo Line is operating from King George to Waterfront in both directions.

There is a shuttle train operating between Columbia Station and Lougheed Station due to inclement weather. Customers must transfer at Columbia or Lougheed to continue their journey.

The Canada Line is operating as normal.

The Seabus is operating normally.

Buses are delayed in many areas across the region as well.

TransLink is tweeting updates from its Twitter account as buses face delays due to road conditions and the weather.

Commuters are advised to leave extra time Monday to get their destination.

HandyDart is down to essential services only for renal and cancer patients.
