A jilted Amazon worker who secretly took photos of a naked woman after having sex with her before posting them on social media has been jailed for 12 months.

Cory Slade, 29, from Newport, Wales, uploaded the compromising images after the victim ended their fling, heard Cardiff Crown Court.

The woman said she felt ‘degraded’ by the pictures that were shared without her consent in November last year.

Prosecutor Talia Keskin said Slade also spat in the face of one police officer and on the shoulder of another as they went to arrest him at his home.

Slade admitted disclosing a private sexual photograph or film, two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage.

Referring to the revenge porn, Recorder IWL Jones told Slade: ‘You had taken photographs of your victim without her consent.

‘You uploaded images of her and they were available because they were on social media for people to see.

‘Both images have been rightly described by your counsel as revolting. They were shared on social media without her consent.

‘Not surprisingly, she felt disgusted, degraded and that there’s been a complete invasion of her privacy.’

The court heard that when he was placed in the police van he spat all over the floor of the vehicle.

One of the police officers worried that he had caught Covid, reported South Wales Argus.

Timothy Evans, mitigating, said: ‘It was a revolting thing to do. The defendant wants to move on. He knows he’s done wrong.’

Mentioning the assaults, the judge added: ‘This was disgraceful behaviour by you and you spat on the floor of the police van.

‘It may have been part of someone’s job to do it, but someone had to mop that up.

‘This is no way for a 29-year-old man to behave. You had a job with Amazon but you threw it all away.’

Slade was jailed for 12 months.
