I'm a Fashion Nova employee and here are shock secrets of working in 'messy' warehouses that get compared to Squid Games

January 28, 2022

A FASHION Nova employee shared shocking secrets about working in the "messy" warehouses that have jokingly been compared to Squid Games on social media.

A TikTok user shared her experience as a Fashion Nova warehouse employee in a "behind the scenes" video recorded from inside the facility.

"Yoo it sucks working here at Fashion Nova. Yall don't even know the half,"Torie, as she's named on her TikTok profile, captioned her post.

As an employee, Torie clocks in and then enters the warehouse to begin her day at work.

Then a loud, drilling alarm signals to workers that it's time to get to work.

The video then shows Torie's coworkers doing mandatory stretching because of how much the job strains their legs.

Torie claims that workers are also expected to move 175 items or more per hour, or managers will "literally go up to you."

The footage went on to show spilled items all over the floor and opened boxes filled with products on the ground.

“It’s literally messy in almost every (aisle) they don’t gaf about your items,” Torie said in an on-screen caption.

Torie had a brief break but said management yelled and rushed employees back to work as soon as it was over.

The TikToker explains how the only good thing about the job is the hour-long lunch break workers get.

When she came back from lunch, management allegedly began yelling at employees again.

"Already soo tired from all that standing and walking. DRAINED AF. Man, I hate it here!!" Torie wrote in the video.

The warehouse employee goes on to show more products scattered on the floor, saying: "Oof all these items really be on the floor like this lmao yall are not getting quality."

The video, which has been viewed over 400,000 times on the platform as of Monday, left fellow TikTokers in shock.

“Modern-day slavery. The fact they gotta use alarms to make sure you don’t go over your break,” one viewer commented.

Another observer wrote: "I will never complain about my job again. This looks like jail."

“This feels like squid games lmao,” another viewer said, referencing the hit Netflix series.

Fashion Nova did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The US Sun.
