Girl, 16, dies after being hit by a lorry while walking near her home in Lincolnshire

The teen was walking in Osbournby, Lincolnshire, when she was hit about 4.40pm on Monday.

Lincolnshire Police today confirmed she passed away.

A spokesperson said: "We are sad to report that the pedestrian involved in this collision has died."

Authorities are now asking for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or the Scania lorry before the crash to come forward.
