A cow caught her head inside a tree and had to be sawed free by dog-walkers in Denmark.
Julius Engedal was walking through a field in Bording, Denmark, with his sister and mother when they noticed the cow had jammed her head.
The Jersey Cow had been abandoned by the rest of her herd and the family took it upon themselves to save it on August 20.

In the tense clip, one of the family member’s can be heard cutting through the tree while the cow is provided the perfect distraction of their black Labrador.
The beloved pet lies down on the grass next to the cow, whose head is poking through the branches, and they sniff each other.
It then jumps at the cow and hopes to play, while the family can be heard chopping away at the tree.

While the family hacked away at the tree, their beloved black Labrador distracted the cow and wanted to play
The animal can be seen craning its necking and holding still as it patiently waits to be cut free.
And after 10 minutes of sawing, the family manage to chop the tree and one of the family member’s pushes down on the tree to let it give way.
After a concerted effort to push and yank the tree, it breaks into two.

Moments later, the family can be heard exclaiming ‘yay’ as the Jersey cow makes a speedy exit.
They hoist up the branch and seem very pleased as the cow happily trots away.
The cow scans the grass for food after letting out a call to the other cows who appear to have abandoned it.
And the family say ‘aww’ as they watch the farm animal disappear into the distance.
