Diverse faces of humanity show gritty reality of life around the world in stunning portraits

From Irish travellers to a drifter with his dog in Los Angeles and cousins growing up in Argentina, the photographs show a range of unique characters.

They are the latest entries for Portrait of Humanity, an international award that invites photographers of all levels to submit images expressing individuality, community and unity.

To take part, you must submit your pictures before January 8, 2019.

The 50 winning images will be exhibited in galleries and museums around the world from September 2019 to January 2020.
