Celebrations advent calendar whiners told to 'get over it' after backlash over treats behind first three doors

Disappointed buyers took to Twitter in a rage on December 1 after finding the divisive Bounty behind the first door.

But the festive frenzy really kicked off when day two's door revealed a Snickers.

And now things have gone absolutely silly on day three – when chocolate-mad Brits awoke to a Mars bar.

But a huge backlash against the moaners has finally exploded after some disappointed people declared "Christmas is cancelled".

As some described the first day of disappointment as "heartbreaking", commentators furiously criticised the whingers.

Another added: "What kind of monster doesn't like a Bounty?"

And Chris Noble said: "It clearly states there's [going to be Bounties] in there.

"Don't be surprised".

Others were confused at the complaints, like the user who asked: "Why are people buying chocolate assortment advent calendars if they don't like at least a quarter of the chocolates?

"Do they not realised these chocolates are going to be included?"

And Jade Estebanez said: "This is their biggest problem in life?

"Get a grip it's a bloody chocolate."

But the comments from angry calendar owners continued to pile up on Mars Incorporated's Twitter feed.

Charlotte Elliot said: "A Bounty on day one… A Snickers on day two… What have we done for you to hate us so much world?"
