BRAVE boozers hit the town last night despite bitter cold and howling winds brought on by Storm Jorge.

Youngsters were dressed to the nines – from trendy get ups to one group who donned veg customs to brave the storm for their booze-fuelled Friday night.

Nasty Storm Jorge battered flood-ravaged Britain for the fourth weekend in a row with 60mph winds and torrential rain.

Gales of up to 60 mph caused travel chaos across the country as the mercury plummeted.

Rain and snow also lashed parts of the country but brave Brits still headed out for a boozy night.

Revellers in Leeds donned carrot, tomato and avocado costumes for their night out on the infamous Otley Run pub crawl.

And partygoers in matching outfits could be seen strutting down Broad Street in Birmingham as boozers took to the tiles to celebrate the Leap Day.

Some of the more sensible youngsters wrapped up in warm coats as they braved the UK's lashing by Storm Jorge.

But some of the more brave drinkers could be seen in mini dresses and open-toed shoes despite the plummeting temperatures.
