Food fight! Moment an Asda shopper smacks woman round the head with a pizza in battle to grab reduced-price meals

This is the moment a shopper slaps another woman with a pizza as they battle over reduced-price food in Asda.
The frenzied scenes were shared on TikTok yesterday by American Influencer Nick Alexander, who calls himself Mr Miami UK after swapping Florida for Wolverhampton.
The footage shows customers pushing and shoving each other in front of the ‘reduced price’ shelves before a woman in a woolly hat tips an empty chicken container on another female shopper’s head.
The shopper appears to retaliate by slapping the woman over the head with a boxed pizza during the chaotic scenes.

The footage is believed to have been shot in the West Midlands city, although Mr Alexander’s TikTok videos often show him visiting new locations across Britain.
Mr Alexander offers up a lively commentary, saying: ‘Oh my gosh. Oh wow. Oh they fighting.
‘Slapped with a pizza baby, I know that’s right. This going down.’
He then pans over to a man who throw him a peace sign amidst the chaos.
‘Aisle 37 baby, I know that’s right,’ he added. ‘It’s going down on aisle 37, baby. It’s a free-for-all. It’s a frenzy.’

The commotion left pieces of raw chicken on the floor along with a packet of flatbreads.
The influencer said: ‘It’s the aftermath for me. They got the chicken on the floor.’
Later footage shows shoppers scrambling for packets of reduced-price easy-peeler citrus fruits as staff hand out them out.
Mr Alexander captioned: ‘They toss the food to them like they in the wild.’
‘This is crazy,’ he said.

In the initial commotion’s aftermath discarded pieces of raw chicken can be seen on the floor
The influencer also shows shoppers being given out sale items by staff , with Mr Alexander adding the caption: ‘They toss the food to them like they in the wild’
The video, which has more than 427,000 views and 32,900 likes is flooded with comments from people both bewildered and unsurprised by the scenes.
Simon Neil Scott commented: ‘I can appreciate that people are struggling in life, but I can’t help think this is more about arrogance and people just being rude. I feel for the staff!’
Jack Hirst added: ‘As a retail worker, it’s always the same people and it’s literally like they are addicted to get the low prices.’
