Yellowstone fans have been desperate to find out when season four will arrive in the US. The Paramount Network series left viewers on the edge of their seats and looking for answers following the attacks on the Duttons. A new teaser has revealed when fans can expect the season four premiere to air.

When is Yellowstone season 4 out?

Yellowstone fans have been keen to find out exactly when the new episodes will drop in the US.

The season three finale left fans with plenty of burning questions as John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) was shot.

Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) was severely injured in a major explosion and Kayce (Luke Grimes) was left to fend off a group of gunmen.

Their fates were left hanging in the balance and a new teaser that dropped on July 1 has provided some answers.

The short video was captioned ‘Revenge is coming’ and it showed some flashbacks from previous seasons.

A revelation came towards the end of the trailer, which shows ranch hand Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) come across John.

He is seen pulling up in his car and running over to John, who is laying at the side of the road covered in blood.

Rip is heard saying: “John, don’t you die on me now. Not like this, you hear me?”

At the end of the teaser, it says ‘Season 4. Coming this Fall.’ This has given some insight into when fans can expect the new episodes.

Although an official date has not been confirmed, it narrows down the time frame somewhat.

With this in mind, the new episodes could air any time between September and November.

Many fans believe the network is waiting until after the Olympics has finished airing in August.

Although this has not been confirmed, it does make sense given the new Fall release date.

Fans had expected the new series to arrive in June, as the new episodes usually drop on Father’s Day.

They have started to run out of patience but were pleased to hear a Fall air date had been given.

One distressed fan commented: “I need a month followed by a NUMBER!”

Meanwhile, another added: “After this gruelling and long wait, we deserve more than 10 episodes.”

The cast have all said the latest season will be worth the wait, and fans are expecting big things.

Another viewer said: “WHEN IS THE REVENGE COMING?? It was SUPPOSED to be here in JUNE.” [Sic]

At this moment in time, no official reason has been given as to why there has been such a delay in releasing the new season.

Most viewers are of the opinion that the series has been postponed so it does not clash with the Olympics coverage.

Another fan said on Instagram: “Fall is just too far away!!!!!!!! I need season 4 now.”

Sadly not too much more has been given away when it comes to plot spoilers for the new season.

The only new footage from the teaser was when Rip finds John injured at the side of the road, and he hopefully saves him.

Fans will be able to binge all three seasons of Yellowstone over the July 4 weekend, with a Paramount Network marathon.

The official Instagram page for Yellowstone said: “Bring the heat this 4th of July weekend with an explosive three-season binge! The #YellowstoneTV marathon starts Saturday at 12pm ET, only on @paramountnetwork.”

Yellowstone returns in Fall 2021.
