Coronation Street is not on tonight (January 27, 2022) as ITV make way for a football match.
Instead of the soap being on, it will be replaced by Manchester City's game with Arsenal, with kick-off set for 8pm.
However, Corrie fans haven't missed out as an hour-long episode aired on Thursday instead.
TV shake-ups have been frequent with Corrie fans having to wait several days before being able to catch up.
The soap was already pulled off the air for the World Cup and the changes also had an impact on rival ITV show Emmerdale and BBC One's EastEnders.

When is Coronation Street back on?
Coronation Street will be back to its regular schedule on Monday (January 30, 2023), airing from 8pm.
The show airs three, 1 hour episodes every week.
This means you can watch it Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays on ITV at 8pm.
Any missed episodes can be watched on the ITV Hub.

Coronation Street was first broadcast on December 9, 1960.
It was created by Tony Warren, and pitched as a "kitchen sink drama serial" about the domestic lives of the working class in the north of England.
The soap focuses specifically on the residents of the Coronation Street in the fictional town of Weatherfield in Greater Manchester.
Since 1960 it has been produced by Granada Television and for most of that time it has been one of the UK's highest rated shows.
